As we pass down the road overlooking all the smoke was as black as charcoal and thick as brick, rising in the air we get the same thought we always have, SHUTDOWN THE FACTORIES! The sight is horrible you can literally see the birds protruding from the sky and landing on the pavement, dead. As we pass into the realm of smoke we cant see a thing.
From the road you can still hear the factories whizzing and whirring as they produce whatever they do produce. The sound was as loud as an elephant threatening a predator as all the factories worked as one.
The smoke was so thick that you could actually
feel it. It felt as sludgy as slimy ooze running
down a wall which made everyone stay in their
car.
The scent of smoke is not at all pleasant and one
whiff of all this smoke will leave you dead in a
couple of breaths. All the houses are as barred
in as super glue.

You had a couple of original similes, you used all of the sentences and I couldn't find any SPG. You described everything really well I felt like I was actually there. Good job
